Dr. Batson Treating Gout Utilizing K-Laser Therapy

Gout is a hereditary metabolic disease and is in the family of acute arthritic conditions which causes inflammation of joints. Gout is usually associated with the big toe, but can be found in various joints throughout the body. Gout is characterized by redness, swelling, tenderness, and severe pain and stiffness of a joint. Gout is caused by the over-abundance of uric acid in the blood stream which can cause the formation of sharp needle like urate crystals in the joints and under the skin causing inflammation and pain associated with gout.
 
Dr. Batson of Willowbrook Il, utilizes K-Laser Class IV Therapy to treat the pain associated with gout. K-laser utilizes wavelengths of light energy to effectively reduce the inflammation and pain associated with gout.
